2020 Camp – COVID-19 Update

Join Us On A… Safari!

Important COVID-19 Update

Dear Georgia PKU Connect Community,

In an environment where things seem to be changing by the minute, our agenda at Georgia PKU Connect remains steadfast. This means that we continue to develop connections and plan for events and resources that support your PKU lifestyle.

Early registration for our annual family camp will open soon and this year’s camp weekend is September 11th-13th, 2020. We are working closely with our partners at Camp Twin Lakes to ensure a safe camp experience and we invite you to join us as we plan for better times by registering for camp! We will monitor the opportunity for a safe camp closely and if the proper authorities determine that we will not be able to have camp this year, all registration fees will be refunded in full. Please keep an eye out for more registration announcements in the upcoming weeks.

We encourage you all to connect virtually wherever possible for positive support during this time of stay-in shelter and we wish you and your loved ones the best in health and safety.

Sincerely,
Georgia PKU Connect Executive Board
Shiela, Kristen, John, and Christina

It’ll Be An Adventure

Start planning now to join us in September for our annual Georgia PKU Camp Connect. Our theme for this year is Safari!

If you’ve been to camp before, you know that this is a special weekend of water sports, games, informative sessions and special meals for PKU and non-PKU diets alike. It’s a great time to connect with other families and for kids to connect with other kids their age going through the same life challenges and just be yourself. If you’ve never been, we invite you to join us in September.

Look for registration information coming in April.
